Vegetarians - please inform Mrs. Renate Wagner (wagner AT tpi.uni-jena.de), so that the correct number of Vegetarian meals is prepared.
Posters - participants are very welcome to present posters on their research work! Just drop an email to Sascha.Husa AT uni-jena.de, so that we can plan accordingly.
Have a look at the conference center with google maps.
The school is intended to give a thorough view on gravitational waves.
It will cover topics from the theoretical modelling of the sources of
gravitational waves to the data analyses of the wave signals.
The school is open to all students and researchers interested in
the physics and astrophysics of gravitational waves.
Please register with Mrs. Renate Wagner (wagner AT tpi.uni-jena.de).
For board and lodging in the Physikzentrum 270 Euros will be
charged per person (from Sunday 19th evening through Friday 24th afternoon).
It has to be payed in cash or with EC-card at the conference office on
Monday 20th.
There are no conference fees!
This summer school starts on Sunday evening and finishes on Friday after lunch. People who live close to Bad Honnef may also arrive at Monday morning.
New: timetable of lectures.
See our list of speakers.
The physics center Bad Honnef has a nice webpage where you can see how to get there and where you can find information on the kind of available accomodation.
The school is organized by
the Collaborative Research Center and Transregio (SFB/TR 7)
"Gravitational Wave Astronomy"
of the German Research Foundation (DFG).
